1) Manufacture
Steel is melted in electric arc furnaces with further vacuum degassing or produced by ESR- method. Ingots are subjected to hot working on rolling mills, presses, hammers or radial forging machines. Ground and polished surface can be achieved in any process of rolling skin removing.
2) Scope
Hot-rolled round bars 20-250 mm in dia in turned condition.
Hot-rolled round bars8-130 mm in dia without turning.
Forged round bars (forgings) 80-450 mm in dia with turned surface.
Round bars with ground and polished surface 2-50mm in dia.
Hot-rolled square billets with square said 45-250mm.
